Red Russian kale is an excellent microgreen variety with tender stems, colourful leaves and a milder flavour than many mature kale varieties. The young greens work well on their own or as part of a mixed microgreen crop.

Sow densely in trays containing clean, moist growing medium. Maintain even moisture and good airflow, then harvest when the cotyledons are fully open or shortly after the first true leaves appear.
