Eastport Pepper is an evolving hot-pepper variety selected by Eastport Organics under Newfoundland greenhouse conditions. Plants generally reach 1–1½ feet tall and produce peppers approximately 2–4 inches long, with medium to high heat.

This is a long-season pepper that can require approximately 120 days to begin producing ripe fruit. Start seeds indoors early and grow the plants in a greenhouse or protected tunnel for the best chance of a mature crop.

The variety continues to develop as Eastport Organics selects plants for productivity, flavour and performance in a cool coastal climate. Natural variation in fruit shape, colour and heat should be expected.
