Dill is a versatile culinary herb producing tender, aromatic green fronds with a fresh flavour traditionally paired with fish, potatoes, cucumbers, salads, dressings and pickles.

Sow directly in fertile, well-drained soil and maintain consistent moisture during establishment. Harvest the outer fronds regularly for fresh use. Repeated sowings can provide a steady supply of young dill throughout the growing season.

Allow selected plants to flower and mature if dill seed is desired for cooking, pickling or future planting. Approximately 40–50 days to a useful fresh-leaf harvest.
