Arugula, also known as roquette, is a fast-growing salad green with tender leaves and a distinctive peppery flavour. It is a favourite at Eastport Organics for salad mixes, sandwiches, pizza toppings and quick market harvests.

Sow directly in cool, fertile soil and harvest young leaves as needed. Repeated sowings provide a steady supply through spring, summer and fall. Some shade and consistent moisture can help delay bolting during warm weather.
